Care Support Worker-Imaging

About the Role

The Care Support Worker will work within Imaging Services to support the delivery of patient-centred care. Duties will

be undertaken following appropriate training and competency assessment and always within agreed scope of practice. The

post holder will welcome and orientate patients, provide reassurance, support dignity and privacy, and assist with

patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures. The role includes acting as a chaperone for intimate

examinations, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and chaperoning guidance. The post holder will support the

maintenance of clinical areas, prepare rooms for clinics and imaging sessions, clean and restock equipment, and assist
