About the Role

The Sandpit Theatre is a 266-seat arts venue based on the campus of Sandringham School, with a bright and welcoming

foyer area complete with The Chalkboard Bar to provide refreshments.  Since the theatre’s opening in 2001, the venue has

endeavoured to provide a cultural hub for the whole community of St. Albans and further districts, alongside its

invaluable contribution to school life. Over the last 20 years the venue has grown to become ‘The Heart of Sandringham

School,’ boasting a full and varied programme of performances from the school including the Whole School Show in

November and Sandringham’s annual dance show ‘Velocity’ in February. These internal events are complemented by
