Catering Assistant (Nursery)

About the Role

To assist in the provision of catering for the childrens daily food and beverages, ensuring a nutritious diet and

catering for any individual dietary requirements. Serving/assisting in the distribution of meal boxes and meals

Preparation of simple foods Assist staff in the serving of meals and clearing away after meal times Maintaining a high

standard of hygiene within the Nursery kitchen is a major function of the role. Carry out laundry tasks on a daily

basis, ensuring the laundry space is well maintained and compliant with Health and Safety/COSHH regulations Collate meal

numbers Prepare trolleys for meal times Assist Nursery staff in the serving of food to the children Liaise with Nursery
