About the Role

NHS Tayside is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead the Acute Medicine for the Elderly team. This role focuses on delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to acutely unwell older patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous professional development, ensuring high standards of care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursing team effectively.
  • Deliver person-centred care to older patients.

  • Support auditing of care standards.

Requirements

  • Registered on Sub part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub part 2: RN2.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs.
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred.
