Chemotherapy Nurse
About the Role
To manage a case load of patients within the nurse led chemotherapy service according to Joint Management Guidelines. To
demonstrate knowledge of relevant disease areas and anti-cancer medications used in specific disease sites. To provide
information and advice to patients and their carers regarding cancer and its treatment, including clear guidance on how
to report problems and/or seek advice outside of clinic hours. To undertake phlebotomy and cannulation, after
appropriate training has been given and competency has been established. To undertake venesection, after appropriate
training and assessment has been given and competency established, as appropriate. To ensure that all relevant
