About the Role

The Chief Medical Officer is a critical member of the Trust Board and Executive Team.

You will take the lead role in shaping progressive strategies for the development of professional practice and the voice

of medics throughout the trust and, together with our Executive Director of Allied Health Professions, Psychological

Professions & Social Work and Chief Nurse, provide strategic leadership in relation to clinical governance and Quality

Improvement. You will also be responsible for the development and management of all elements of the medical profession

within NELFT.
