Thepostholderwillbe responsible for leadingKensington and ChelseaCAMHSEmotionalDisordersTeam(EDT)-alongside the team’s

consultant Psychiatrist- and

forprovidingahighlyspecialistChildandAdolescentPsychotherapyservicetochildren,youngpeopleandfamiliesexperiencingmentalhealthdifficulties.Theywilldeliverspecialistpsychotherapeuticassessments,formulationsandinterventionsforyoungpeopleandtheirfamiliesorcarers,andofferexpertpsychodynamicconsultationandadvicetomultidisciplinarycolleaguesandthewiderprofessionalnetwork.

ThepostholderwillcontributetogenericCAMHSfunctions,includinginitialassessments,urgentassessments,riskassessmentandmanagement,dutyparticipationandcarecoordination,applyingpsychoanalyticunderstandingtothebroaderrangeoftherapeuticworkundertakeninCAMHS.

Theroleincludesprovidingconsultationacrosspartneragenciestopromotepsychologicallyinformedapproaches,andcontributingtothesupervisionanddevelopmentoftraineesandlessexperiencedclinicians,asappropriatetoserviceneed.Thepostholderwillutilise
