About the Role
The following are the core responsibilities of the Child Health Surveillance clerk. There may be, on occasion, a
requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels. Main
tasks include: Maternity Recording of EDD for pregnant females Inviting of pregnant patients to attend for whooping
cough vaccine Recording of delivery and birth details of child Arranging post-natal appointments and 6-week checks Read
code type of delivery for payment of whooping cough vaccine Records which patients have received whooping cough vaccine
Childhood Vaccinations To be aware of all necessary vaccinations required by children Monitoring of childhood
