About the Role

Join Stonecroft Day Nursery and Pre-School as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice. This role offers hands-on experience in a nurturing environment, supporting children's development from 3 months to 5 years. You'll work closely with qualified staff, engage with parents, and contribute to a diverse setting focused on individual growth and learning.

Responsibilities

• Work in three separate rooms
• Support children with self-help skills
• Plan engaging activities
• Ensure appropriate care for each child
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Perform light household duties
• Assist with personal care and mealtimes

Requirements

• Clear DBS check required
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English
• Enthusiastic and reliable attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team

Location & Schedule

Stonecroft Day Nursery and Pre-School is open from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week.
