Childcare Assistant

About the Role

Join Rainbow Child and Family Centre as a Childcare Assistant, where you will support leaders in delivering a safe and engaging environment for children aged 6 months to 14 years. Your role will be vital in fostering children's development through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the room before children arrive.
• Tidy up after children leave to maintain cleanliness.
• Encourage and ensure the safety of children during activities.
• Participate in all group activities to promote engagement.
• Recognize the importance of play in child development.

Requirements

• Effective teamwork skills are essential.
• Fluency in English for communication and safety.
• OCN Level 2 Youth Work or NVQ Level 2 Early Years preferred.
• At least 6 months of childcare or youth club experience.
