Children & Family Support Worker| Agency | £17 /ph | Camden
About the Role
We are seeking reliable and skilled Children & Family Support Workers to provide direct support to children, young people, and families in a variety of settings. You’ll play a key role in supervising contact between children and their families, as well as providing safe escort services when children need to travel. This role requires strong safeguarding knowledge, clear communication skills, and the ability to write accurate professional reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to children, young people, and families.
- Supervise contact sessions between children and their families, ensuring safety and professionalism.
- Escort children safely to and from contact sessions, schools, or appointments.
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely reports following contact or escort sessions.
- Work in partnership with social workers, schools, and health professionals.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records in line with policy.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting children and families.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write professional reports accurately.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts.

Compensation
Pay ranges from £15 to £17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location & Schedule
This role is based in Camden and surrounding areas, with part-time, temporary agency work available.
