Children' Epilepsy Specialist Nurse
About the Role
To support the team leader and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in the management of a caseload. This will include
the assessment and delivery of care needs, and the development and evaluation of programmes of care for children and
young people who have a comfirmed diagnosis of epilepsy. To act up in the absence of the team leader/caseload holder and
be responsible for maintaining agreed policies and clinical standards in accordance with agreed criteria. Assist in the
development of the management and development of a designated area of practice in conjunction with the team leader.
Clinical functions To assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of epilepsy care in accordance with the Trusts
