Children's Staff Nurse

About the Role

Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC / RSCN) or equivalent qualification, with valid NMC registration. Experience working

with children and young people in an acute hospital or community setting. Strong clinical assessment skills and the

ability to recognise and escalate deterioration promptly. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support,

reassure, and engage children and families effectively. Ability to work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team,

contributing to safe and coordinated care. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safeguarding, infection control,

and patient safety. Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload and respond flexibly to
