Clinical Facilitator for Epilepsy and Long Term Health Conditions
About the Role
To implement & evaluate competencies across the Learning Disability and Autism directorate in relation to Epilepsy and
other long term health conditions. To conduct audit for epilepsy competencies in line with Epilepsy Specialist Nurse
Association (ESNA) competencies. To be an active member of regional epilepsy groups and be the directorates link with
wider epilepsy networks. To support with the development, delivery and review of epilepsy training packages within the
directorate. Support staff in the development and review of epilepsy care plans. To provide teaching and training of
others in relation to other physical health conditions e.g. diabetes. To contribute to the development of competency
