About the Role
The post has been substantially revised to provide development and education in Cardiology. The post is suitable for a
resident doctor wishing to pursue a career in cardiology and is especially aimed at those individuals wishing to gain
some cardiology experience in preparation for applying to a training scheme to obtain a national training number (NTN)
in cardiology. There is a well-established track record for holders of the Fellow post to successfully gain a NTN.
The post holder will ideally have completed a core training programme or equivalent in general medicine. Possession of
MRCP and previous experience in cardiology is highly desirable. Experience of working within the UK NHS would be
