About the Role
The HCSW will used evidence-based practice to help support and deliver a confidential, quality and cost-effective
service in support of and under the direction of a registered professional.They will carry out assigned tasks,
appropriate to their role, experience and competence, including direct nursing care and administrative duties as
delegated by the nurse in charge and as part of a wider GLiSH team.The HCSW will ensure that patients receive safe,
individualised and effective care, accepting delegated responsibility appropriate to the role, experience and competency
of the post holder.
