About the Role
PURPOSE To perform autonomous diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopic examinations To provide training
for appropriate clinical staff in upper and lower GI Endoscopy To lead trans nasal Endoscopy services to support faster
diagnostic targets. JOB SUMMARY Work autonomously as an advanced practitioner within the speciality of Endoscopy,
performing both upper and lower GI endoscopy, managing a caseload of patients delivering individualised direct patient
care. To exercise and demonstrate advanced levels of clinical judgement, discretion and clinical decision-making. To
ensure the provision of research based expert and holistic care and advice to patients and their families/carers with
