About the Role
The Congenital Cardiology team care for in the region of 10,000 adult patients with congenital heart disease. As an NHSE
designated Level One ACHD centre we work in a network with Great Ormond Street Hospital as our referring paediatric
centre. We also work across an Adult network which includes outreach services at Basildon and UCLH.
There are a number of sub-speciality areas that sit under the ACHD service. We have clinics in the specialist areas of
Maternal Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure (including close working with Transplant Centres), Pulmonary
Hypertension and Transition.
