About the Role
To promote and deliver a high standard of care based on best practice to maintain patient/service user safety and
provide an excellent. Act as the point of contact for patients experiencing an acute episode and liaise with colleagues
to manage the condition appropriately. This may involve liaising with the specialist IBD nursing team in Southampton To
coordinate the assessment and treatment of patients/service users with inflammatory bowel conditions. To coordinate the
development, implementation and evaluation of specialised programmes of care utilising evidence and research. To provide
specialist advice in acute and chronic situations ensuring that the patients/services users needs are met along with
