Clinical Nurse Specialist - Specialist Palliative Care Team

About the Role

Palliative care is the active and appropriate care for people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, aiming

to promote both physical and psychological well-being. It is informed by a knowledge and practice of palliative care

principles and is the responsibility of all health care staff, supported by specialist palliative care. The integrated

Specialist Palliative Care Team (SPC) is a nurse led, hospital based team, integrating specialist palliative and end of

life care. It is a multi-disciplinary and acts as a specialist resource through clinical expertise to the Royal United

Hospitals Bath Foundation NHS Trust (RUH).
