Clinical Nurse Specialist Thoracic

About the Role

Accountable for own actions in accordance with Code of Professional Conduct. Will contribute towards corporate

objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all times. The post holder will be a

designated Thoracic Clinical Nurse Specialist within the hospital and will provide expert specialist advice for

patients, relative and carers in relation to cancer diagnosis and to other health care professionals. To provide

emotional support to patients, their families and staff during difficult situations e.g. breaking bad news or following

an unexpected event and ensuring the patients holistic needs are considered in the decision-making process. To be an
