Clinical Specialist Nurse - MHSOP Inpatients
About the Role
The Clinical Specialist Nurse will take a lead role in delivery of clinical service to the patients, families and
paid/unpaid carers we support. This will include supervision of clinicians and playing an active role in collective
clinical decision-making. The post holder will have responsibility for providing clinical leadership to colleagues in
assessment, treatment and management of patients with advanced Dementia and complex, multifaceted needs. The post holder
will contribute to the planning, oversight and provision of expert care and support to all patients who are transferred
to the ward, providing evidenced based interventions based on need and promoting the soonest possible safe transfer into
