Clinical Standards Lead WCA Level 2

About the Role

The Clinical Standards Lead conducts face-to-face healthcare assessments and examinations, producing concise reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). This role includes mentoring healthcare professionals and supporting quality and productivity targets within the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face assessments for various benefits.
• Mentor and coach healthcare professionals in the assessment centre.
• Provide comprehensive reports to inform DWP decisions.
• Deliver Stage 3 training and classroom sessions for new hires.
• Audit cases and provide feedback to improve performance.

Requirements

• Registered healthcare practitioner (nurse, physician, etc.).
• Experience in coaching and mentoring healthcare professionals.
• Ability to analyze clinical information and produce reports.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation

The salary for this position is £46,000.00 per annum.
