About the Role

The Clinical Streamer role at the Partnership of East London Co-operatives (PELC) is essential for directing patients to appropriate care within Urgent Treatment Centres. This position involves assessing patient needs, ensuring safe redirection, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will have advanced clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Direct patients to appropriate clinicians based on their needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage streaming queues.
• Provide comprehensive handovers to incoming staff.
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Advocate for patients facing cultural or language barriers.

Requirements

• Advanced clinical skills and emergency care experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient handovers.
• Understanding of safeguarding and sepsis guidelines.
• Compliance with NMC/HCPC registration standards.
