About the Role
The Clinical Streamer role at the Partnership of East London Co-operatives (PELC) is essential for directing patients to appropriate care within Urgent Treatment Centres. This position involves assessing patient needs, ensuring safe redirection, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will have advanced clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Direct patients to appropriate clinicians based on their needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and manage streaming queues.
- Provide comprehensive handovers to incoming staff.
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Advocate for patients facing cultural or language barriers.
Requirements
- Advanced clinical skills and emergency care experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient handovers.
- Understanding of safeguarding and sepsis guidelines.
- Compliance with NMC/HCPC registration standards.
