About the Role
Post holders will support registered nursing staff and other health care professionals in the delivery of nursing care
to patients at a level determined by training, competence and experience. They will also assist in the maintenance of
the care environment and perform housekeeping, clerical, ancillary and portering roles as requested. NB Postholder
should only undertake duties for which training has been received and where relevant, competency-based assessment
successfully completed. Postholder must make nurses and others aware of any limitations to competence.
