About the Role
Our Clinical Support Workers for the Community Liver Health Checks programme support the roll out of an exciting new
pilot project providing community screening of people in hard-to-reach groups for cirrhosis. This project aims to
identify people currently using local alcohol and drug services or other community services and engage them in screening
for cirrhosis, offering interventions to help their liver health. This project will aim to provide patients with support
to attend screening and provide direct to patient incentives to encourage attendance at screening.
The post holder will work closely with the Hepatology Service at MRI and the Infectious Diseases outreach service at
