About the Role

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Clinical Support Worker (CSW) to join the PET-CT/Nuclear Medicine department. This role involves assisting Radiographers and Technologists in delivering advanced imaging services, providing patient care, and performing clerical duties. Ideal candidates will have prior clinical experience or a strong desire to learn in a dynamic healthcare environment. Training will be provided to successful applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient procedures and care.
• Perform cannulation and check blood sugars.
• Double-check measurements of radiotracers.
• Support smooth operation of the department.
• Conduct clerical and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Good basic general education; relevant NVQ preferred.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Previous hospital setting experience is desirable.
• Ability to work flexibly within a team.
