About the Role
The Clinical Support Worker will assist in delivering direct patient care in Day Services at Kilbryde Hospice, contributing to effective communication and enablement care under the guidance of senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior MDT members with various duties.
- Support patient assessment, care, and documentation.
- Maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Promote a rehabilitative model of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and research.
Requirements
- Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience in specialist palliative care.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation
The salary for this position is £12,147 (FTE £25,306) for 18 hours over 3 days. Further compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
Location & Schedule
This role is based at Kilbryde Hospice, with a schedule of 18 hours per week over three days.
