Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist

About the Role

To provide support and care to patients with colorectal cancer and their families. Acting as the key worker and bridging

the transition of care between specialty teams. You will be a good team player, but also be willing and able to work

autonomously. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate ability to work in a multi

disciplinary setting. The role is emotionally demanding, so experience of working with patients with cancer essential.

Assist and ensure treatment is delivered in appropriate time frames, in accordance with national cancer guideline. Work

collaboratively with all members of the MDT at UHS and in referring centres to ensure all patients receive the highest
