Community Care Assistant

About the Role

As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate nature with a desire to help others.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate client needs.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Compensation

Pay rate is £15.38 per hour, plus 40 pence per mile for travel between calls.

Location & Schedule

This position is based in Hitchin, with working hours from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm, including every other weekend.
