Community Infection Prevention & Control Nurse
About the Role
Integrate and work effectively within the onsite IPC team maintaining high standards of Infection Prevention and Control
across acute and community areas, providing support to clinical areas to minimise the risk of transmitting infections to
our patients. To assist in the dissemination of learning from incidents and outbreaks of infection across all providers.
To develop and provide bespoke IPC audits and educational resource packages for social care and educational providers.
To be able to work independently, prioritising workload to meet service needs and demands. Contribute to the Quarterly
and Annual reports. Be able to problem-solve, assist in decision making and support more senior members of the team in
