About the Role

The Community Midwife provides holistic, evidence-based care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth,

and the postnatal period. Working in partnership with multidisciplinary teams, the role involves assessing, planning,

implementing, and evaluating care in line with Trust policies and NMC standards.

Responsibilities include promoting informed choice, supporting healthy lifestyles, facilitating parent education, and

supervising junior staff and students.
