Community Midwifery Hub Receptionist
About the Role
To welcome all patients and their family members into the department in a professional manner, making them feel
comfortable and at ease and to direct them to the appropriate area. Answer telephone enquiries in an appropriate manner
relaying information to patients and midwives where necessary. Maintain good written and verbal communication between
all departments and outside agencies. Use the computerised patient management system (E-Camis) to access patient
details, update information and make antenatal and postnatal appointments. Photocopy and scan documents/notes as
required and manage the department post. Accessing and printing ICE requests in readiness for clinics. Help maintain hub
