Community Nursery Nurse

About the Role

As a community nursery nurse , you will work with health visitors, registered nurses, nursery nurses and administrators

to deliver the Healthy Child Programme to children's and families from pregnancy to 5 years of age. Under the

supervision of the team lead, health visitors and registered nurses, you will: - Provide evidence based 1-1 advice for

children, young people and families on issues such as continence, healthy eating (including infant feeding), sleep

routines, childhood immunisations and child safety. - Provide health promotion advice and undertakes the weighing and

measuring of babies & children at Healthy Child Clinics, interpreting and accurately recording this information -
