Community Psychiatric Nurse - County Dementia Outreach Service

About the Role

We are looking for a committed and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses to help deliver the service in

Bassetlaw as part of Older People Care Unit . You will be based within the Multi-Disciplinary Community Mental Health

Team whilst also being a part of the wider outreach service which is managed by a clinical specialist. A key aspect of

the Community Psychiatric Nurse role will be advising and supporting care home staff to improve their skills and

confidence to manage behaviours and promote person centred care planning. Specialist knowledge of the nursing issues

associated with dementia in a residential setting and a high level of communication skills are crucial. The County
