About the Role
Job Purpose The aim of The Childrens Public Health 0-19 Nursing Service is to reduce health inequalities and improve the
health and wellbeing of children and their families in Nottingham City. The team offers a universal service for all
children and young people in Nottingham City as set out in the Healthy Child Programme. The role of the Community Public
Health Nurse is: To work within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
School Nurse (SN)/Health Visitor (HV) in the delivery of the universal and targeted services in a variety of community
settings including citywide working and supporting all teams including the Childrens Health Advice Hub (CHAH) and
