About the Role
Key results from the job holder To carry out assigned tasks involving direct care in support of a Registered Nurse by
supporting individuals in the achievement and / or maintenance of their health and wellbeing this can include health
promotion for client group. This may also involve (when competencies achieved) blood pressures, blood samples, finger
prick technique, urinalysis, bowel care, nutritional support, observations, specimen collection, prevention of pressure
ulcers, moving and handling, weight - hoist, wheel chair, height, urinalysis, oxygen statistics, respirations, pulse,
waist measurements, -promote personal care skills of the individual Carrying out behavioural and clinical observations
