About the Role

The Community Team Support Worker plays a vital role in the District Nursing Service, assisting with daily operations. Responsibilities include managing communications, data entry, equipment ordering, and supporting nursing staff during home visits. This position is essential for ensuring efficient service delivery and patient care within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and manage team communications.
  • Input data accurately into spreadsheets.
  • Order equipment and maintain stock levels.
  • Accompany nursing staff on patient home visits.
  • Attend staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality regulations.

Requirements

Compensation

Salary is based on Band 2 of the NHS pay scale, to be discussed during the interview process.

Location & Schedule

This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, based in Tameside and Glossop.
