Computer Studies Lecturer

About the Role

We are seeking a Computer Studies Lecturer to join our team at GBS UK. This full-time role involves teaching undergraduate modules in our BSc (Hons) Computing programme, focusing on Technology, Software, and Data. The ideal candidate will develop course materials and assess student progress while staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work effectively.
• Develop and improve course materials regularly.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Engage in staff development and administrative duties.
• Stay updated on developments in the field.
• Work towards defined objectives for student success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area; PhD preferred.
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience required.
• Extensive knowledge in programming, web development, or cybersecurity.
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The salary for this position is £51,000 per year.

Location & Schedule
