About the Role

This job is a new consultant post and currently has a 50% commitment to pain and 50% to anaesthesia with input into the

emergency general anaesthetic rota’s.

Royal Cornwall Hospital offers a comprehensive pain management service across Cornwall providing outpatient services to

St Austell and Penzance as well as Royal Cornwall Hospital itself.

The busy acute and chronic pain service offers both inpatient and outpatient care as well as having strong links with

the palliative care services within Cornwall to provide a community based intrathecal pain service as required.
