About the Role

The Anaesthetic Department sits under the Surgery and Inpatients Directorate. The department is supported by Head of

Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care, Deputy Medical Director, Divisional Nurse Director for Clinical Services, and

General Manager as well as Clinical Leads of Service.

The post holder will have direct access to the administrative support team based within the Anaesthetic department. In

addition, the Admissions and Pre-assessment Unit (APU) team provide full administrative and secretarial support for

clinical work performed within this unit. The department also supports study leave and professional leave in line with
