Consultant Breast Radiologist - 10 PA's

About the Role

Breast imaging is separate from the main imaging department in a dedicated single-site breast unit within the West

Suffolk Hospital site, co-located with the breast surgical team, breast care nurses and support staff. We provide the

breast symptomatic service and the NHS Breast Screening Programme to West Suffolk.There are two mobile vans where most

of the screening is performed. The static department benefits from 3 mammography units, a mixture of Hologic and GE.

Tomosynthesis, tomo-guided vacuum biopsy and excision and Ultrasound guided vacuum excision are performed. Contrast

mammography is available on equipment and implementation planned. There are two ultrasound rooms (Siemens and Canon).
