About the Role
This is a part-time consultant appointment to support our Clinical Biochemistry service, including our UKAS
accreditation.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to a comprehensive Clinical Biochemistry Service for all users of the
laboratory. The consultant will provide expert support for analytical quality and assay implementation, diagnosis and
management of biochemical disease, advice on appropriate investigations on an individual patient basis, and determine
the services provided by the Clinical Biochemistry/Immunology Department within the resources made available to the
