About the Role

Participate in the day to day running and administration of the department in conjunction with the present complement of

staff. See, examine and treat patients attending the department. Supervise, oversee, and teach departmental junior

medical and nursing staff in addition to medical students. Help to develop their sub-specialty within the directorate.

Help to further links between the emergency departments at UHNT and JCUH. Participate in clinical audit, clinical

governance and Morbidity & Mortality Meetings. Participate in quality improvement projects within the directorate.Take

part in departmental research projects and lead the directorate forward in the field of research. Participate in
