Consultant Forensic (SCFT) in Psychiatry

About the Role

The post holder will be Section 12 Approved and is expected to prepare reports and attend Managers Hearings and

Tribunals for the patients under their care. Some of the patients are on hospital orders, with or without a restriction

order, therefore clear and regular communication with the Ministry of Justice will be part of the clinical duties. In

addition, attendance of the weekly referrals meeting when new referrals and progress of existing referrals and

assessments is discussed, is mandatory. Active participation in the clinical governance process in the Trust as well as

any meetings concerning the development of the Secure Service at Brockfield House. The post holder will be expected to
