Exeter AMU is constantly improving and has seen significant investment over the last few years. It is a medium sized

Acute Medical Unit (AMU) of 50 beds plus 2 trolley spaces, 44 of which are monitored. Our developed SDEC includes 6

rooms and 4 ambulatory cardiac bays for advanced interventions along with a dedicated triage area of 3 trolleys for all

referrals all of which will enlarge with the development. We also have a separate ambulatory clinic area for elective

procedures and returns. Our Acute Hospital at Home team support discharges and allow outreach into the community. We
