About the Role
We are seeking aConsultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatristto joinSowenna, Cornwall’s first purpose-built adolescent
inpatient unit (14 beds for ages 13–18). The service isQNIC-accreditedand provides trauma-informed, relational care
within a bio-psycho-social and Care Programme Approach (CPA) framework.
You will provideclinical leadershipto a skilled multidisciplinary team, oversee assessments and care planning, and work
closely with community CAMHS, Eating Disorder, and Neurodevelopmental teams. There are opportunities forresearch,
teaching, and service development, with strong support forCPD and flexible working.
