The main impetus for this post is to support our elective recovery in day case procedures and outpatients. This would

include hernia work and either upper GI / biliary work or proctology depending on specialist skills. The post would also

allow planned cover of on call vacancies due to known upcoming vacancies. Major case availability would depend on the

skillset of the applicant and would be discussed at interview. Working Pattern: This can be discussed at interview
