About the Role

Consultant in GUM & HIV (10PA)

The HIV department is situated in purpose-built premises on the acute hospital site. The HIV cohort at Croydon

University Hospital (CUH) continues to increase yearly, currently seeing a large cohort of >1,000. CUH has a different

and diverse cohort with older heterosexuals and women making up the majority of patients. HIV inpatients are admitted

under the HIV team or as shared care with other teams.

Inpatient admissions number around 100 admissions annually, some of whom require complex interventions and management.
