About the Role
Clinical responsibilities The post is a general Haematology post covering all areas of district general Haematology
practice. However, a sub-specialist interest would be expected to complement the sub-specialist interests of the
existing Haematology Consultant establishment. The appointee will be expected to share responsibility for the delivery
of high quality care to patients presenting to the department with haematological disorders To diagnose and treat both
inpatients and outpatients under the care of the department To support the clinical decision making of junior medical
and nursing staff To provide on call support out of hours to Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. To remain
